Sheri Jo (Scanlan) Siebrass was born on April 18, 1951, in Clarinda, Iowa to Joseph Donald and Norma Jean (Shrimpton) Scanlan.  She grew up on the family farm near Nodaway, Iowa and graduated from Villisca Community High School in 1969.She was a good student/athlete and a multiple letter winner in softball, track, and basketball.  She was a member of Villisca's 1968 Iowa Sweet Sixteen Women's basketball team. She married Merlin Juel in 1969 and two daughters, Shannon and Staci, blessed this union, The family resided in Omaha.

Sheri's first job was assisting her parents with the chores on the small family farm. She had several jobs as a working Mom and retired in 2019 from the Children's Hospital Records Department.

She married Scott Siebrass in 1992 and gained two stepdaughters, Vanessa and Tabitha.  Although her failing health impacted her abilities, she tried to be an involved mother, stepmother, and grandparent.

Sheri enjoyed collecting Boyd's Bears and dining at Texas Roadhouse. Yellowstone, Blue Bloods and the movie, Dirty Dancing, were her favorites to watch.

She entered into rest on March 24th at the age of 72.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cherishing her memory are her husband, Scott Siebrass, Children – Shannon Rogers and her husband Alan; Staci Cohn and her husband Brandon; Vanessa Siebrass and Tabitha Siebrass; her brother Steven Scanlan and sister-in-law Susan Scanlan; grandchildren Austin, Daniel, Jessica, Lauren, Camden, Carter; and great-grandchild, Colt; along with many cousins, friends, and coworkers.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, March 28th at 10:30 AM at Fusselman- Allen-Harvey Funeral Home Chapel, 413 Elm Street, Louisville, NE Visitation will be March 27, 2024 from 1:00-8:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6-8 at the Funeral Home Chapel.

The family requests casual dress for everyone.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
