Shirley A. Buske was born on April 10, 1939 in Rochester, Minnesota to Alfred and Ann (Reber) Vagt. She passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 20 days.

After High School, Shirley graduated from College and later worked at a Phone Answering Service Company. Previously she had worked in Mason City in a Group Home. When not working, she enjoyed playing Bingon and working on her computer. She especially enjoyed the time that she was able to spend with her Grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Badberg and husband Mike of Talmage, NE; Susan Davenport and husband Jim of Endeavor, WI; Wendy Buske of Spokane, WA; sons, Mike Buske of Green Acres, WA; Scott Buske of Arkansas, Kelly Buske of Blair, NE. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 brothers, Leon Vagt of Rochester, MN and Jim Vagt of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Tubbesing officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Rural Talmage, NE.
