Stanley H. Boldt, 73 of Otoe, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Syracuse. He was born in Lincoln to Harold & Mary (Corzine) Boldt on March 24, 1944 and grew up in Douglas.

Stan married Bonnie Schutz on July 23, 1965 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. He served in the National Guard for 29 years. Stan currently owned and operated a small engine repair business. He has been a member of the American Legion Post #100 for 45 years. He had been a member of the Otoe school board, town board and OVFD. He was presently serving on the St. John's church council.

He is survived by his wife: Bonnie; sons: David (Teresa) Boldt, Craig (Peggy) Boldt, Adam Boldt & special friend Jessy; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers: Milton Boldt, Doug (MaryAnn) Boldt; sister: Marlene (Doug) Denison; sisters-in-law: Sharon Boldt, Roberta Boldt, Janet Erisman; brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Dale & Patricia Alber; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Arnold Boldt, Gary Boldt and brother-in-law: Dan Schutz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. Burial will be at the Otoe cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family's choice.
