Stanley M. Wiebke, 80 of Cook, passed away May 14, 2018 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1938 to Martin & Emma (Spanjer) near Burr, NE.
Stanley married Beverly Schmidt on April 18, 1964 at Grace Lutheran Church in Cook. He worked for 25 years at the Cook Elevator. He was a 4-H leader and on the Tree Board in Cook. Stanley was also an active member at Grace Lutheran Church. He had a large vegetable garden and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his Son: Michael Wiebke of Cook, Ken (Heather) Wiebke of Lenexa, KS; Grandchildren: Victoria Wiebke of Overland Park, KS and Taylor Wiebke of Lenexa; Sisters: Marilyn Saathoff of Sterling, Eunice (Gary) Weible of Richland, WA; Brothers: Ivan (Julie) Wiebke of Holyoke, CO, Charles (Betsy) Wiebke of Dubuque, IA; Sister-in-law: Carol Wiebke; Brother-in-law: Jim Armknecht; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers: Everett, Ralph, Robert, sister: Sandy Armknecht and brother-in-law: Robert Saathoff.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 18 at 10:30 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Cook. Burial will be at Grace Lutheran Cemetery
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. all at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
