Stephanie A. Swanson, 50 of Syracuse, passed away on July 5, 2020 at the Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln. She was born on July 12, 1969 to Larry & Charlotte (Hershberger) Nedrow in Lincoln. Stephanie graduated from Waverly High School and later obtained her Psychology degree from Peru State.

Stephanie joined the Air National Guard in 1987 before retiring in 2008. On September 21, 2002 she married Kevin Swanson near Roca, NE. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Syracuse School District. Stephanie was a devoted mother and was very active in her children's activities.

She is survived by her Husband: Kevin Swanson; Children: Quincey & Kaleb Swanson all of Syracuse; Step-Daughter: Heather (Justin) Seeba of Lincoln; Grandchildren: Claire, Logan & Stella Seeba; Mother: Charlotte Nedrow of Waverly;  Sister: Heather (Marvin) Rubenking of Waverly; Nephew: Caden Rubenking; Niece: Carley Rubenking both of Waverly; Mother-in-law LaVona Swanson of Johnson, NE; Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law: Lonnie (Marilyn) Swanson of Johnson, Luan (Ray) Metzner of David City, Sue Anderson of Johnson, Kenny (Barb) Swanson of Auburn, Larry (Judy) Swanson of Wahoo; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents and Father: Larry Nedrow.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 10 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Facebook page.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse. If you wish to join in the procession with the family, please meet at St. John's Lutheran Church at 10:30 A.M. Attendees will be asked to remain in their vehicles and the service will be available by radio broadcast. Everyone is invited to the Syracuse County Club immediately following the burial.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

A memorial fund for Stephanie Swanson has been established at Countryside Bank in Syracuse.
