Steve was born January 4, 1969, in Syracuse, Nebraska, to Robert and Jaqueline (Thompson) Knake. He passed away Saturday January 19, 2008, at the Monarch, in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 39 years, and 15 days.

Steve had worked for Peels Beauties Supply as Design Manager and later went back to what he loved, farming and milking. He is a member of American Dairy Association, and Center for Rural Affairs, he loved milking and working with the land and the animals

Steve is survived by his parents Robert and Jaqueline, of Syracuse, NE, son Shayeton Knake of Syracuse, NE, brothers Daniel and wife Tammy Knake, of Dardanelle AK, Kurtus and wife Kathy Knake, and nephew Kaden of Unadilla, NE, Craig Knake, of Syracuse, NE, grandmother Margie Thompson Rogers, of Leonardville, KS, and his ex-wife Cammie Martinez, Denver, CO.

Visitation: Monday from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M., and Tuesday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M., and the casket will be open at the Church one hour before services.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 10:00 A.M.
