Steven E. Neemann was born on April 5, 1987 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Kenneth and Janet (Wilken) Neemann. He passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 23 years.

Steven grew up in the Syracuse area, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed going on vacations with his family and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his father, Kenny Neemann of Lincoln, NE; sister, Nicole Wellensiek and husband Chris of Brock, NE; grandmother, Clarice Neemann of Syracuse, NE: grandmother, Geraldine Wilken of Murdock, NE; uncles, Mike Neemann and wife Karla of Omaha, NE; Richard Wilken and wife Somsawan of Puyallup, WA; aunts, Meredith Christensen and husband Robert of Cheyenne, WY; Carol Fisk and husband Dean of Syracuse, NE. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Neemann, grandfathers, Willard Wilken and Melvin Neemann.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse, Nebraska with Revs. Mike Widner and Paul Coen officiating.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Elmwood, NE.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 1st from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Sunday, May 2nd from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:30 - 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
