Stuart Erickson was born on December 6, 1938, in Salem, South Dakota, to Nels Ervin and Susanha Matilda (Strand) Erickson. He passed away, May 24, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 28 days.

Stuart married Argentina Cardenas, on February 14, 1964, in San Antonio, Texas. He retired from the Lincoln Public School. He served as Past Master, Bennet Lodge 94, Bennet, NE, Past High Priest of Capstone Chapter #64, Past Illustrious Master of Lincoln Council #6, and Mount Mariah Past Commander, Knights Templar #4.

He is survived by his wife Argentina, of Palmyra, NE, son Stuart II and Leann Erickson, of Lincoln, NE, step daughter Audrey and Richard Gonzales, of San Antonio, TX, grandsons Nick & Jason Gonzales, brother Newell and Sharon Erickson, of Pope Valley, CA, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Stuart is preceded in death by his parents Nels & Susanha, sister Wilma Wiebe and Avis McLean

Services for Stuart Erickson will be a Masonic Service on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel, 644 Park Street, Syracuse, Nebraska.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Bennet Lodge #94.

Family Suggests Memorials To Knights Templar Eye Foundation or American Lung Cancer Association.

Family will greet friends on Friday, May 27th from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 A.M. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home.
