Sylvia Mae Meisinger was born May 28, 1921, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to George and Lela (London) Miller. She passed away Friday morning, March 18, 2016, at the Louisville Care Center, Louisville, Nebraska at the age 94 years, 9 months, and 19 days.

Sylvia married Milford Meisinger, in Greenwood, Nebraska, in 1943, and to this union they raised three children, Betty, John, and Dave. Sylvia met Milford at the Cream Station where she worked in Louisville. She loved to watch Kansas City Royals baseball, and University of Nebraska Volleyball.

Sylvia is survived by her children Betty (Terry) Meyer, of Manley, NE; John Meisinger, of South Bend, NE; Dave (Holly) Meisinger, of South Bend, NE 8 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Milford, and was the last of 14 brothers and sisters.

.Visitation and Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Louisville Senior Center, 423 Elm Street, Louisville, Nebraska, with hors d'oeuvres served. Private family burial will be at a later date. Family Suggests Memorials to Mosaic Home 210 East 8th Street, Fremont, Nebraska, (granddaughter's care givers organization).
