Obituary

Sylivia Jean Mueller "Jean" February 17, 1934 – October 21, 2017.   Survived by husband of 60 years Henry "Hank" M. Mueller, son and daughter-in-law Alan and Melanie Mueller, 4 grandchildren - David Haveman and wife Jessica, Darrell Haveman and wife Allison, Darcee Andras and husband Hunter, Dean Haveman.  Great Grandchild Weston Haveman.  Son-in-law Todd Tackett: as well as nieces, nephews, and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her daughter Deb Tackett and parents Wilfred "Bill" and Mildred "Betsy" White.

Jean received her teaching certificate from Peru State College and taught in eastern Nebraska until marrying Hank on November 27, 1957.  She went on to be a teacher's aide for Louisville Public Schools where she was famous for creating the saying "hands up, mouth shut" when the buses stopped at the RR tracks while hauling kids back and forth to lunch. Jean retired from the Louisville Messenger where she sold advertisements for the local paper.

Visitation will be Wednesday October 25 th from 1 PM until 7 PM with family greeting friends from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Louisville Senior Center 423 Elm Street, in Louisville, NE.

Funeral services will also at the funeral home 413 Elm, Louisville, NE, on October 26 th at 11:00 am.
