Tarn Eugene Davis, 58, of Wabash, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born January 5, 1964, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Darrel and Myrna (Richards) Davis.

After graduating with the Grand Island Senior High Class of 1982, Tarn had many adventures. He started his college career as a music major, but eventually graduated with a BA in 18th Century British Literature. Tarn was always seeking knowledge and became a student of Religious Studies. Eventually, he became the Religious Coordinator for the Nebraska Department of Corrections in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He shared his kindness and compassion while working for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Eventually, he found his calling with the Nebraska State Patrol - most recently with the Security Department for the Nebraska State Capitol.

Tarn had many diverse interests. He was a Boy Scout, an exchange student to Japan, on the GISH Gymnastic Team and in Jazz, Concert and Marching Band, on the UNL Kendo Team, a fencer at the Lincoln Fencing Club, and most recently, COS play with his niece (Rey) and nephew (Kylo Ren) - he was the "Older" Luke. Tarn enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking and running with his furry family, whom he loved greatly! He spent many years seeking spiritual and religious answers and recently discovered the direction for him in the Catholic Faith. He had a great talent and love for music - especially as a Jazz Saxophonist. Most importantly, Tarn LOVED his family and friends.

Tarn is survived by his parents, Darrel and Myrna Davis, his sister, Moraine (Charlie) Davis-Magnuson and ADORED niece and nephew, Sawyer and Bennett Magnuson all of North Platte, his brother Bob (Leslie) Davis of New Bern, NC, his Aunt Eleanor Davis of Spokane, WA, extended family and friends and his beloved furry baby - Max.

Preceding Tarn in death were his Grandma Ethel Davis, Grandma and Grandpa Effie Ruth and Lloyd T. RIchards, Uncle Bill Davis, Cousin Terry Davis, Great Aunt and Uncle Ralph and Marie Richards, Great Aunt Evelyn Ransford, and his furry family - Natobi, Saki, Sassy, Jubai, and Topper.
