Terri “Dolly” L. Sheldon, 71 of Shenandoah, IA, passed away at home on June 15, 2026. She was born on March 25, 1955, in Omaha to Dennie & Patricia Lee (Renner) Barton. In 1973, she graduated from Platteview High School in Springfield, NE.

On October 9, 2004, she married Robert “Bob” Sheldon Sr. Terri worked for Omaha Steaks for many years. She enjoyed flower gardening and took great pride in caring for her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Sheldon Sr.; children, Billy (Carrie) Arnold, Eddie Arnold, Dennis (Melissa) Arnold, and Trisha (Eric) Bender; stepson Robert (Michele) Sheldon Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Denise (Dan) Madson and Chris Barton; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Korbin Arnold; and siblings, Benny Barton and Bonnie Walker.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Syracuse. Burial will follow in the Otoe Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with family greeting friends at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
