Theodore (Ted) Brooks was born on February 15, 1955 to Theodore and Barbara Condon Brooks in Torrance, California. He passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 59 years, 9 days.

Ted married Shirley Miller on May 31, 1980 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Together they raised four sons - Justin, Michael, Jonathan and Eddie. He was a manager at Orschlen Farm and Home. Ted enjoyed playing cards. He served on the Douglas Fire and Rescue for 22 years as an EMT.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Brooks of Lincoln, NE, sons;
Justin (Brandi) Brooks, Michael Brooks, of Omaha, NE and girl friend Jessica Wagner, of Tecumseh, NE, Jonathan Desmond and fiancé Jeana Sukovaty, of Lincoln,
NE, Eddie (Autumn) Guerra, of Lincoln, NE, brothers and sisters and their spouses: Arlene (Dick) Baldridge, of California, Robert (Sherri) Brooks, of Washington,
Carol (Pat) Cochran, of Omaha, NE, David (Lisa) Brooks, of Grand Island, NE, Mary Jo Longbine Brooks, of Grand Island, NE, Ronnald Morris, of Washington.


Funeral service will be Monday March 3, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the
Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Chapel, 644 Park Street, Syracuse, Nebraska, with burial at Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra, Nebraska. Family Suggests Memorials to
the Family.


Visitation will be Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the Family greeting from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., all at the Funeral Home
