Obituary
Theodore "Ted" William Schliefert was born June 13, 1947, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Frederick & Hattie (Koop) Schliefert. He passed away, December 25, 2010, at his home in Louisville, at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 12 days.
Ted married Patricia Thompson, on February 20, 1998. He worked for Ash Grove Cement Company for 39 years, but before that he served in the United States Air Force, 1967 til 1970 at Ellsworth Air Base, in South Dakota, and 1970 til 1971 in Vietnam. Now days he worked, belonged to Vintage Chevy Clubs, and was Pat's right hand Man.
Ted is survived by his wife Pat, daughter & son-in-law Traci & James Kuehn, of Plattsmouth, NE, daughter Kari Plagman, of Logan, IA, grandsons Andrew and Benjamin, of Logan, IA.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents, and aunt & uncle Kris & Loyd Braack.
Memorial Services for Ted Schliefert will be Friday, December 31, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Louisville at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home (413 Elm Street, Louisville, NE) on Thursday from 6-9 pm with family present from 6-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Louisville Senior Center or Donor's Choice.
