Obituary
Velva M. Lange was born on May 6, 1933 in Unadilla on the family farm to Frank Sr. and Mille (Davis) Schulze. She passed away on September 29, 2011 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 23 days.
She was united in marriage on August 14, 1952 in the Unadilla Christian Church to Merlin Lange and to this union they raised 3 children Vickie, Dan and Julie. Velva worked at Stover's Candy in Lincoln and also at Bill's Grocery store in Palmyra for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading books and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her Husband Merlin Lange of Palmyra, NE, Children Vickie Lange of Palmyra, NE, Dan & Cindy Lange of Holland, NE, Julie & Mike Gerhart of Lincoln, NE, 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Brother Frank Jr. & Joyce Schulze & son Cory of Unadilla, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister.
Memorial Service will be Saturday October 1 at 11:00 A.M. at Unadilla Christian Church in Unadilla, NE with Rev. Andy DeGolyer officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Wellman, Nick Gerhart, Brandon Donovan, Jason Borgelt, Cory Schulze
The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the Family's Choice.
