Vernon J Dunn was born November 3, 1930, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Homer and Mary (Pfeiffer) Dunn. He passed away, Friday, May 8, 2009, in Louisville, Nebraska, at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 5 days.

Vernon married Mary Lou Hurley, on November 28, 1953, in Omaha, Nebraska, and to this union they raised children Bob, Tim, Mary Beth, and Joe. He was enlisted in the United States Army during Korea, and served from February 1952 until November 1953. Vernon's life was Family and Farming.

Vernon is survived by his wife Mary Lou Dunn, of rural Ashland, NE, children & spouses, Bob & Marlene Dunn, of Carpenter, WY, Tim Dunn, of rural Ashland, NE, Mary Beth & Marlan Johnson of Eagle, NE, and Joe & Sandi Dunn, of Midland, MI, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends

Preceded in Death by his parents Homer and Mary Dunn.
