Victor Liesemeyer was born September 1, 1920 in Lorton, Nebraska to Henry and Adala (Kuehn) Liesemeyer. He passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 2 months, 9 days.

Victor married Arlene Beckfield on March 28, 1943 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Together they raised 1 son Gary. Victor served in the Army Air Corp from July 25, 1942 thru Feb. 6, 1946. He was a farmer his whole life and loved the land. He enjoyed going to dances at Elms Ballroom and playing Gin Rummy.

Victor is survived by his Wife: Arlene Liesemeyer of Syracuse, NE, Son: Gary and wife Sharon Liesemeyer of Syracuse, Granddaughter: Jill and husband Tyler Evans of Olathe, KS, Grandson: Greg and wife Natilee of Castle Rock, CO, Four Great Grandchildren: Sister: Leila Kruse of Syracuse, NE.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse, Nebraska with Rev. John Finster officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to St. John's United Church of Christ.
Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse, Nebraska.
