Violet May (Junge) Sachs of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, former longtime resident of rural Plattsmouth died on May 30, 2009 in Jacksonville Beach. Violet was born on May 5, 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska to Otto and Clara Junge.

She is survived by her sons, George & Sheila Sachs of Plattsmouth, NE; Don & Miki Sachs of Council Bluffs, IA Ed & Sue Sachs of Orlando, FL, Daughter, Jean & Chris McGrath of St. Augustine, FL, 8 grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, Brother/Sister-in-law, Freeman & Erika Sachs of San Rafael, CA; Sister-in-law, Ruth Smith of Woodville, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George W. Sachs and sister Bernice Athey.

At Violet's request, she was cremated in Florida. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home in Plattsmouth with Rev. Mavis Hall officiating. A reception will follow at St. Luke's Episcopal Church Social Hall (3rd & Ave A).
