VIRGINIA "MARY" HOPP

Virginia "Mary" Hopp was born August 8, 1927, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Harry and Gertrude Matthews. She left us to be with her husband Charlie, and our Lord, Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Tabitha Health Care, in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 8 days.

Mary married Charlis Hopp, on September 2, 1959, at St. Leo's Catholic Church, in Palmyra, Nebraska, and to this union they raised 2 daughter Heidi and Jeannie. She was active in her Church and loved to read, embroider, and loved her family.

Mary is survived by her daughters Heidi Hopp, of Bennet, NE, and Jeannie Lancaster & husband Rob, of Lincoln, NE, brothers Jack and wife Peggy Matthews, Donald and wife Mary Matthews, and Dick Matthews, all of Great Bend, Kansas, and Billy and wife Ellen Matthews, of Fort Worth Texas, along with nieces nephews, and many friends.

Mary is preceded in death: his parents, husband Charlie, and 3 brothers.

Funeral Mass for Mary will be Tuesday, October 21st 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Palmyra, Nebraska. Her ROSARY will be Monday, October 20th at 7:30 P.M. at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 644 Park Street, Syracuse, Nebraska. Family Suggest Memorials to Tabitha Hospital

Visitation will be Monday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with a ROSARY at 7:30 all at the Funeral Home.
