Wayne C. Kupke, 76 of Louisville passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born on March 9, 1942 to Paul & Malinde (Jung) Kupke in Omaha.

Wayne married Joyce Ann Madoerin on July 28, 1963 at the First Lutheran Church in Omaha. He worked as a farmer, bus driver and grounds keeper at Platte River State Park in Louisville. Wayne was a member of the Lions Club and Murdock Volunteer Fire Dept. He also enjoyed spending time in his woodshop.

He is survived by his Wife: Joyce; Children: Kim (Ron) Griffin, Karen (Budd) Bogatz, Jeff (Michelle) Kupke; Grandchildren: Allison (Tom) Ferguson, Matthew Griffin, Joshua (Ciera) Bogatz, Kyle Bogatz, Taylor Kupke, Dakota Kupke; 4 Great Grandchildren and Sister: Eileen Guehlstorff.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Paul Oliver Kupke.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 28 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Murdock. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation at the church will be held Tuesday, March 27 from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 6 P.M. all at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the Murdock Volunteer Fire Dept., Trinity Lutheran Cemetery or Families Choice.
