William Frederick Molck, Jr. "Bub" was born on September 24, 1934 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to William Frederick and Dorothy R. (Collins) Molck. He passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Alegent Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 16 days.
Bub was raised in the Council Bluffs area and attended Thomas Jefferson High School. In 1954, he enlisted in the United State Air Force and worked as a Aircraft Mechanic and crew chief. After his discharge he continued with his mechanic work as a civilian at Offutt Air Force Base. After his retirement, he continued his love of engine repair operating a small engine repair shop in Plattsmouth for many years.
He was a member of the Lepert Wolever Post #2543 V.F.W. in Plattsmouth and Plattsmouth Eagles F.O.E. 365. He enjoyed time spend with his retired friends from Offutt at breakfast gatherings. He was a true 'jack of all trades' and loved to work with this hands.
He is survived by his son, Jody & Lisa Molck of Omaha; daughter, Jill Davis of Plattsmouth; grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Kyler Molck, Cassidy Borrink, step-children, Tony Calabro, Tom Calabro & Joe Calabro of Omaha; Rose Smith of Bellevue, Phyllis Calabro of MI; 11 Step Grandchildren, 5 Step Great Grandchildren. Sisters & Brothers: Betty & Jack Carver of Loveland, CO, Janet Snell of Plattsmouth, Larry & Annie Molck, Farmerville, TX, Paul & Barb Molck, Wayne & Shar Molck, Vicki & Fred Christensen, Anita, IA, Steve & Barb Molck of Plattsmouth; Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Neal Snell.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home, Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Dr. Allan Wooters officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Rites performed by Lepert Wolever Post #2543 V.F.W. and the United States Air Force Honor Gurad.
