William L. "Billy" Holscher was born on September 22, 1934 in Burr, Nebraska to William A. and Elizabeth (Callaway) Holscher. He died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 25 days.

Billy was raised in the Unadilla area where he graduated from Unadilla High School. He was a truck driver his entire adult life. For many years, he owned and operated Holscher Bro's Trucking. He was married to Gloria Rousseau on September 23, 1978 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
He was a member of the East Lincoln Christian Church.

Billy is survived by his wife Gloria, of Lincoln, NE, children, Kim Martacho & Danny, of Unadilla, Candy Jacobsen & Steve, of Lincoln, NE, Butch Holscher & Cheri, of Nebraska City, NE, Robin Berner & Brad, of Avoca, NE, Terry Rousseau & Carla, of Lincoln, NE, Brad Rousseau, of LA, grandchildren Dominic Martacho & Laura, of Syracuse, NE, Grenee Martacho, of Phoenix, AZ, Brandon Berner & Becca, of Avoca, NE, Chantelle Schroeder & Aaron, of Lincoln, NE, Aaron Holscher & Abbie, of Watertown, SD, Jodi Gillespie & Garry , of Syracuse, NE, Logan Jacobsen, of Lincoln, NE, Benjamin Rousseau, Adam Rousseau, Sarah Rousseau, Alex Rousseau, Austin Rousseau, Audrey Rousseau, Ayden Rousseau, Anna Rousseau, all of Lincoln, NE great grandchildren Connor Martacho, Hadyn Berner, Shaley Stephenson, Ashlyn Miller, Colton Gillespie, sister, Jean Lucas and Marvin of Unadilla, NE; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Maxine Schwahn, of Omaha, NE, Deatta & Mitch Chapel, of Spearfish, SD, Darryl & Lorraine Rousseau, of Siston, SD, Gary & Tootie Rousseau, of Eagle Butte, SD, and Kay Koch, of Lincoln, NE Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many adopted family.

He was preceded in Death by his parents, sister Velma Kastens, Mother-in-law Dorothy Rousseau, brother-in-law Wayne Thompson

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Unadilla Christian Church in Unadilla, Nebraska with Dr. Rebecca Brown and Rev. Andy DeGolyer officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20th from 6-8 P.M. at the East Lincoln Christian Church located at 7001 Edenton Road in Lincoln, Nebraska with family greeting friends. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, July 21st from 9 AM until 9 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home with family greeting friends from 6-8 PM.

Private family burial will be in the Unadilla Cemetery at a later time.
