Obituary

Wilma I. Clem, 90 of Palmyra passed away on October 25, 2014 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Syracuse. She was born on August 7, 1924 to Elmer & Hattie (Bailey) Johnson in rural Palmyra.

Wilma graduated from Palmyra High School in 1941. On April 7, 1946 Wilma married Jacob Clem in Palmyra. She was very active at church and was a member of the United Presbyterian Women's Guild. She was also a member of the Palmyra Eastern Star, Nash Jensen Legion Auxiliary, Farm Bureau, Republican Party and the Rough Riders where she served as an officer. She also enjoyed playing cards and quilting. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She loved to attend her grandchildrens' activities and loved helping kids.

Wilma is survived by her Children: Mark (Diane) Clem of Palmyra, Denise (Dewaine) Knutson of Palmyra, Grandchildren: Jessica (Jason) Clem McClaren of Omaha, Justin Clem of Lincoln, Sarah Knutson of Bellevue, Jacob & Vanessa Knutson of Palmyra, Sister: Darlene Smith of Syracuse, Many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Elmer & Hattie Johnson, Husband Jake, Daughter-in-law: Laurie Clem, Brothers-in-law: Wilson Clem, Martin Runge, Bob Smith, Sisters-in-law: Iola Clem, Hazel Runge.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 27, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Palmyra Presbyterian Church in Palmyra. Burial will be at Rosewood Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to the Family's Choice.
