Wyman L. Stedman, 92 of Syracuse formerly Palmyra, NE. Passed away Sat. July 12, 2014. He was born to Sherman & Lydia "Dolly" (Motherhead) Stedman in rural Unadilla, NE. He served in the Air Force from 1942-1945 during WWII. He married Margaret "Peg" Ficke on March 2, 1946. He worked as a farmer and rural mail carrier.

Survived by son: Steve & wife Cindy of Beatrice, grandsons: Jeff (Lisa) of Bennet, Scott (Danielle) of Beatrice, Jason (Sara) of Beatrice, great grandchildren: Caleb & Bradley of Bennet, Garrett & Hannah of Beatrice, Ethan of Beatrice, sisters-in-law: Mary Jo Stedman of Lincoln, Jackie Burbank (Wayne) of Clive, IA, Gloria Ficke of Crete, also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Peg in 1990, brother Hilton in 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. at the Rosewood Cemetery in Palmyra on Wednesday July 16 with a 2 P.M. church services to follow at the Palmyra Presbyterian Church in Palmyra.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 15 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

The family suggests memorials to: Camp Calvin Crest or Palmyra Presbyterian Church
